This is my version. I posted this on the 100% Alva fb group and immediately got some interest / orders… I never intended to sell them, or profit from someone else’s artworks… it was a hobby project. Nonetheless, I thought I’d run the idea of selling my ‘fan art’ past Tony Alva himself. So I messaged Timo Hillbrecht – House of Alva skateboard collector extraordinaire [https://vimeo.com/434617678] and explained myself, and then left it with him. I also emailed the Alva.com contact us address and eloquently articulated my idea, my ethical standards and my greater understanding of the skate ethos… A couple of days later, I received an email from TA…

It says:

Just don’t sell them , you can make stuff n give it away in Oz . I love Australia and it’s people and culture. I see it as promotion if you are truly a devotee of the Alva posse ethos. Transparency and Honesty is of true value to me if you represent those values you have my blessing👑❤️‍🔥🌄
